Sec. 349.204. GIVING WRITTEN NOTICE. (a) For purposes of this subchapter, written notice is given to a person by delivering the notice to the person or the person's agent or attorney of record: (1) in person; or (2) by United States mail to the address shown on the most recent documents in the transaction. (b) Deposit of a notice as registered or certified mail in a postage-paid, properly addressed wrapper in a post office or official depository under the care and custody of the United States Postal Service is prima facie evidence of the delivery of the notice to the person to whom it is addressed.
