Sec. 349.005. LIABILITY FOR VIOLATING INJUNCTION. (a) A person who violates an injunction issued under this subtitle is liable to this state for a civil penalty that does not exceed $1,000 for each violation. (b) For purposes of this section, a district court that issues an injunction under this subtitle shall retain jurisdiction, and the cause shall be continued. (c) The attorney general may petition the court for recovery of the civil penalty prescribed by this section.
