Sec. 345.214. ADDING TO RETAIL INSTALLMENT CONTRACT PREMIUMS FOR INSURANCE ACQUIRED AFTER TRANSACTION. (a) A retail buyer and holder may agree to add to the unpaid balance of a retail installment contract premiums for insurance policies covering goods or services sold in a prior retail installment transaction under the contract or goods or services related to those goods or services, including premiums for the renewal of a policy included in the contract. (b) A policy of insurance described by Subsection (a) must comply with the applicable requirements of Sections 345.201 , 345.203 , 345.207 , and 345.208 .
