Sec. 34.071. DUTIES OF EXECUTING OFFICER. An officer receiving a writ of execution does not have a duty to: (1) search for property belonging to the judgment debtor; (2) determine whether property belongs to a judgment debtor; (3) determine whether property belonging to the judgment debtor is exempt property that is not subject to levy; (4) determine the priority of liens asserted against property subject to execution; or (5) make multiple levies for cash or multiple levies at the same location.
