Sec. 311.902. STREET LIGHTING IN TYPE A GENERAL-LAW MUNICIPALITY. The governing body of a Type A general-law municipality may: (1) provide for and regulate the lighting of a street; (2) create or change lamp districts; or (3) exclusively regulate or direct the laying or repairing of gas pipes and gas fixtures in a street, alley, sidewalk, or other place.
