Sec. 304.259. VENUE. (a) Venue for an action based on a violation of Subchapter B or C is in: (1) the county in which the telemarketing call was made or received; or (2) Travis County, if the action is brought by the commission, the attorney general, or a state agency. (b) Venue for an action under Subchapter D is in Travis County.
