Sec. 301.111. ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING. (a) If a timely election is not made under Section 301.093 , the commission shall provide for a hearing on the charge. (b) Except as provided by Subsection (c), Chapter 2001 , Government Code, governs a hearing and an appeal of a hearing. (c) A hearing under this section on an alleged discriminatory housing practice may not continue after the beginning of the trial of a civil action commenced by the aggrieved person under federal or state law seeking relief with respect to the discriminatory housing practice.
