Sec. 30.01446. JUDGE. (a) to (d) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, Sec. 139(37), eff. Sept. 1, 1999. (e) A municipal judge is entitled to compensation or a salary and other benefits set by the governing body of the city. The governing body may not base the compensation or salary directly or indirectly on fines, fees, or costs collected by the court. (f) Section 30.00007 does not apply to this subchapter.
