Sec. 30.00655. JOINT COURTS: JURISDICTION. (a) The jurisdiction of a joint municipal court of record created under Section 30.2503 is the combined jurisdiction of the municipal courts of the contracting municipalities. (b) An appeal from a joint municipal court of record created under Section 30.2503 is to the county criminal court of the county in which the offense occurred. If that county does not have a county criminal court, appeal is to the county court of law of the county.
