Sec. 30.00604. JUDGE. (a) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, Sec. 139(15), eff. Sept. 1, 1999. (b) In addition to satisfying the requirements of Section 30.00006 (c), a municipal judge must maintain residence in the city during the tenure of office but need not be a resident of the city at the time of the appointment. The judge shall serve full time and may not engage in the private practice of law while in office. (c) to (e) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, Sec. 139(15), eff. Sept. 1, 1999. (f) Section 30.00007 (b)(5) does not apply to this subchapter.
