Sec. 292.029. COURT FACILITIES IN POPULOUS COUNTIES. (a) This section applies only to a county with a population of 2.2 million or more. (b) The commissioners court of a county may designate a specific geographical location in the county other than the county courthouse as an auxiliary county seat for the holding of nonjury court proceedings.
