Sec. 29.0056. INFORMATION REGARDING STATE SUPPORTED LIVING CENTERS. (a) In this section, "state supported living center" has the meaning assigned by Section 531.002 , Health and Safety Code. (b) The Health and Human Services Commission, in collaboration with the agency and stakeholders who represent the full continuum of educational residential placement options, shall develop and provide to the agency materials regarding educational residential placement options for children who may qualify for placement in a state supported living center. The agency shall make the materials developed under this subsection available to school districts. (c) At a meeting of a child's admission, review, and dismissal committee at which residential placement is discussed, the school district shall provide to the child's parent the materials developed under Subsection (b).
