Sec. 282.125. RESPONSIBILITY OF COUNTY. On conversion of a district under this subchapter, the county in which the district is located shall convey or transfer to the district: (1) money held by the county treasurer for the district under Subchapter D, including any money in the district's construction and maintenance fund or interest and sinking fund; and (2) taxes levied by the county for the benefit of the district under Subchapter F.
