Sec. 265.052. EMINENT DOMAIN. (a) The hospital board may acquire the fee simple title to or any other interest in land and other property by condemnation under Chapter 21 , Property Code, to carry out any power, duty, or function under this subchapter. (b) The board has the same rights as a county or municipality under Section 21.021 , Property Code. (c) The board shall determine the amount and character of the interest in land or other property to be acquired under this section.
