Sec. 263.082. PAYMENT BY PATIENT. (a) A patient may not be permitted to pay an amount for the patient's maintenance in the hospital greater than the average per capita cost of maintenance in the hospital, including a reasonable allowance for the interest on the cost of the hospital. (b) An officer or employee of a county hospital may not accept from a patient a fee, payment, or gratuity for any service.
