Sec. 263.046. GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF BOARD OF MANAGERS. (a) The board of managers shall generally manage and control the hospital, including: (1) its buildings and grounds; (2) its officers and employees; (3) its patients; and (4) all matters relating to its government, discipline, contracts, and fiscal concerns. (b) The board of managers may adopt rules it considers necessary to carry out the purposes of the hospital. (c) The board of managers shall maintain an effective inspection of the hospital and keep itself informed of the hospital's affairs and management.
