Sec. 252.035. DENIAL, SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE. (a) The department, after providing notice and opportunity for a hearing to the applicant or license holder, may deny, suspend, or revoke a license if the department finds that the applicant or license holder has substantially failed to comply with the requirements established under this chapter. (b) The status of an applicant for a license or a license holder is preserved until final disposition of the contested matter, except as the court having jurisdiction of a judicial review of the matter may order in the public interest for the welfare and safety of the residents.
