Sec. 252.0032. CONTENTS OF APPOINTMENT BY CANDIDATE. (a) In addition to the information required by Section 252.002 , a campaign treasurer appointment by a candidate must include: (1) the candidate's telephone number; and (2) a statement, signed by the candidate, that the candidate is aware of the nepotism law, Chapter 573 , Government Code. (b) A campaign treasurer appointment that is filed in a manner other than by use of an officially prescribed form is not invalid because it fails to comply with Subsection (a)(2).
