Sec. 251.253. MEETINGS BY UNITS OF MEMBERSHIP. (a) The certificate of formation or bylaws of a cooperative association may provide for the holding of meetings by units of the membership of the cooperative association and may provide for: (1) a method of transmitting the votes cast at unit meetings to the central meeting; (2) a method of representation of units of the membership by the election of delegates to the central meeting; or (3) a combination of both methods. (b) Except as otherwise provided by the certificate of formation or bylaws, a meeting by a unit of the membership shall be called and held in the same manner as a regular meeting of the members.
