Sec. 25.0631. DENTON COUNTY. (a) Denton County has the following statutory county courts: (1) County Court at Law No. 1 of Denton County; (2) County Court at Law No. 2 of Denton County; (3) County Criminal Court No. 1 of Denton County; (4) County Criminal Court No. 2 of Denton County; (5) County Criminal Court No. 3 of Denton County; (6) County Criminal Court No. 4 of Denton County; and (7) County Criminal Court No. 5 of Denton County. (b) Denton County has the following statutory probate courts: (1) Probate Court of Denton County; and (2) Probate Court Number 2 of Denton County. (c) The statutory county courts of Denton County sit in the county seat or at another location in the county as assigned by the local administrative statutory county court judge. The statutory probate courts of Denton County sit in the county seat and may conduct docket matters at other locations in the county as the statutory probate court judges consider necessary for the protection of wards or mental health respondents or as otherwise provided by law.
