Sec. 247.061. COORDINATION BETWEEN AGENCIES. (a) The executive commissioner and the attorney general shall adopt by rule a memorandum of understanding that: (1) defines the department's and the attorney general's responsibilities concerning assisted living facilities; (2) outlines and coordinates procedures to be used by those agencies in responding to complaints concerning assisted living facilities; and (3) provides a plan for correcting violations or deficiencies in assisted living facilities. (b) The department shall prepare the initial draft of the memorandum of understanding and shall facilitate and ensure its adoption.
