Sec. 243.006. COMMITMENT RECORDS. A commitment to the department may not be received in evidence or used in any way in any proceedings in any court except in: (1) subsequent proceedings under Title 3 of the Family Code against the same child; (2) imposing sentence in any criminal proceedings against the same person; or (3) subsequent civil commitment proceedings under Chapter 841 , Health and Safety Code, regarding the same person.
