Sec. 24.901. CRIMINAL JUDICIAL DISTRICT OF DALLAS COUNTY. (a) The Criminal Judicial District of Dallas County is composed of Dallas County. (b) The terms of the criminal district court begin on the first Mondays in January, April, July, and October. (c) The criminal district courts in Dallas County have concurrent original misdemeanor jurisdiction with the county courts in Dallas County that have criminal jurisdiction. (d) Section 24.115 , relating to the 14th District Court, contains provisions applicable to both that court and the Criminal District Court of Dallas County.
