Sec. 24.603. JUDGE. (a) A family district court judge's qualifications and term of office are the same as those prescribed by the constitution and laws of this state for district judges. A family district court judge is elected in the same manner as a district judge. (b) A family district court judge is entitled to the same compensation and allowances provided by the state and county for the other district judges in his county.
