Sec. 24.155. 53RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT (TRAVIS COUNTY). (a) The 53rd Judicial District is composed of Travis County. (b) The 53rd, 98th, and 126th district courts have concurrent jurisdiction. (c) The terms of the 53rd District Court begin on the first Mondays in January, March, May, and October. (d) The judges of the district courts in Travis County do not have a duty to impanel grand juries but may impanel grand juries when they consider it necessary.
