Sec. 24.015. PROCEDURE AT SPECIAL TERM. (a) Juries for special terms authorized by Section 24.014 shall be summoned in the manner provided by law for regular terms. (b) Any proceeding in a case that may be held at a regular term may also be held at a special term. (c) The following procedures in any civil or criminal case are the same and have the same force and effect when done at a special term as though done at a regular term: (1) the issuance of process, whether to a regular term or a special term; (2) the conduct of proceedings; (3) the issuance of an order, judgment, or decree; and (4) an appeal. (d) A proceeding held at a special term may be appealed as if it were held at a regular term.
