Sec. 232.044. WITHDRAWAL IN NEW ELECTION. The provisions of this code governing withdrawal of candidates in the contested election apply to the new election ordered by a court in an election contest, except that: (1) the district court shall set the deadline for withdrawal from the new election; and (2) a political party's executive committee may not make a replacement nomination if the party's nominee withdraws from the new election.
