Sec. 221.020. REGISTERED OFFICE AND AGENT. (a) A development corporation shall continuously maintain a registered office and registered agent in this state. (b) The registered office may be, but need not be, the same as the development corporation's principal office. The registered agent may be: (1) an individual resident of this state whose business office is the same as the registered office; or (2) a domestic or foreign profit or nonprofit corporation that is authorized to transact business or conduct affairs in this state and that has a principal or business office that is the same as the registered office.
