Sec. 22.081. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Department" means the Department of Public Safety. (2) "National criminal history record information" means criminal history record information obtained from the department under Subchapter F , Chapter 411 , Government Code, and from the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Section 411.087 , Government Code. (3) "Private school" means a school that: (A) offers a course of instruction for students in one or more grades from prekindergarten through grade 12; and (B) is not operated by a governmental entity.
