Sec. 209.046. EXCEPTIONS TO REQUIREMENT TO ACCEPT OR APPLY FOR SUITABLE WORK. An individual may not be denied extended benefits for failure to accept a job offer of suitable work or apply for suitable work if: (1) the work was not offered to the individual in writing and was not listed with the employment service; or (2) failure to accept or apply for the work would not result in a denial of benefits under the applicable suitable work requirements for a regular benefit claimant in Section 207.008 , to the extent that the standards of suitability in that section are not inconsistent with Section 209.047 .
