Sec. 209.021. BEGINNING AND ENDING DATES FOR EXTENDED BENEFIT PERIOD. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), an extended benefit period begins with the third week after a week with a state "on" indicator. (b) An extended benefit period may not begin before the 14th week after the end of a previous extended benefit period in effect for this state. (c) An extended benefit period ends with the later of: (1) the third week after the first week with a state "off" indicator; or (2) the 13th consecutive week of the period.
