Sec. 204.052. APPOINTMENT OF BOARD. (a) The physician assistant board consists of 13 members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate as follows: (1) seven practicing physician assistant members who each have at least five years of clinical experience as a physician assistant; (2) three physician members who are licensed in this state and who supervise physician assistants; and (3) three public members who are not licensed as a physician or physician assistant. (b) Appointments to the physician assistant board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointee.
