Sec. 202.304. RENEWAL AFTER MILITARY SERVICE. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (c), this section applies to a podiatrist whose license has been suspended or revoked, or whose most recently issued renewal certificate has expired, while the podiatrist has been: (1) engaged in federal service or on active duty with: (A) the United States Army; (B) the United States Navy; (C) the United States Marine Corps; (D) the United States Coast Guard; or (E) the United States Air Force; (2) called into service or training of the United States; or (3) in training or education under the supervision of the United States before induction into military service. (b) A podiatrist subject to this section may renew the podiatrist's license without paying a renewal fee for the expired license or passing an examination if, not later than the first anniversary of the date of the termination of service, training, or education described by Subsection (a), other than by dishonorable discharge, the podiatrist furnishes to the department an affidavit stating that the podiatrist has been so engaged and that the service, training, or education has terminated. (c) This section does not apply to a podiatrist whose license is revoked under Section 202.502 .
