Sec. 201.554. PENALTY TO BE PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED. (a) Not later than the 20th day after the date a person receives the notice under Section 201.553 , the person may: (1) accept in writing the enforcement committee's determination and recommended administrative penalty; or (2) make a written request for a hearing on the occurrence of the violation, the amount of the penalty, or both. (b) If the person accepts the enforcement committee's determination and recommended penalty, the board by order shall approve the determination and impose the recommended penalty.
