Sec. 174.0631. CONSIDERATION FOR USE OF PUBLIC BUILDING FOR CONVENTION. (a) No charge may be made for the use of a public building for a precinct, county, or senatorial district convention except for reimbursement for the actual expenses resulting from use of the building for the convention. (b) The reimbursing authority is entitled to an itemized statement of expenses before making remittance. (c) A person commits an offense if the person assesses a charge for the use of a public building for a precinct, county, or senatorial district convention in violation of Subsection (a). An offense under this subsection is a Class C misdemeanor.
