Sec. 172.124. REPORTING PRECINCT RESULTS TO SECRETARY OF STATE RELATING TO CANDIDATES WHO FILED AN APPLICATION FOR A PLACE ON THE BALLOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. (a) For each primary election, the county clerk shall prepare a report of the number of votes, including early voting votes, received in each county election precinct by each candidate for an office, other than a party office, as provided by Section 67.017 for the report of precinct results for a general election. (a) For each primary election, the county clerk shall prepare a report of the number of votes received in each county election precinct by each candidate for an office, other than a party office, as provided by Section 67.017 for the report of precinct results for a general election. (b) The county clerk shall deliver the report to the secretary of state not later than the 30th day after primary election day. (c) Except as otherwise provided by this section, the report is subject to the requirements prescribed by Section 67.017 for the report prepared for a general election. (d) The secretary of state shall create and maintain an electronic system for submission of the report.
