Sec. 172.113. UNOFFICIAL TABULATION OF PRECINCT RESULTS. (a) The authority establishing a central counting station shall prepare the unofficial tabulation of precinct results. (b) Repealed by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 828 (H.B. 1735 ), Sec. 64(2), eff. September 1, 2017. (c) Repealed by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 828 (H.B. 1735 ), Sec. 64(2), eff. September 1, 2017. (d) The authority shall make periodic announcements of the current state of the tabulation, including by posting the announcements on the Internet website of the county, if the county maintains a website. (e) On completing the tabulation, the authority shall: (1) deliver it to the general custodian; or (2) post the tabulation on: (A) the county's website; and (B) if required by secretary of state rule, the secretary of state's website. (f) A person employed to assist in the preparation of the unofficial tabulation is entitled to compensation at the same rate as an election clerk serving in the election.
