Sec. 17.069. CHAIRMAN'S CERTIFICATE. (a) On request of any party and payment of a $25 fee, the chairman shall certify the occurrence or performance of any duty, act, omission, transaction, or happening contemplated or required by this subchapter, including the wording of any registered letter received. (b) The chairman may make the certification to the court that issued the process or to another court in which an action is pending against the nonresident or agent. (c) The chairman's certificate and the certified wording of a registered letter are prima facie evidence of the statements contained in the certificate or letter.
