Sec. 167.134. MOVEMENT OF ANIMALS IN VIOLATION OF PERMIT OR CERTIFICATE. (a) A person commits an offense if the person moves or, as owner, part owner, or caretaker, permits the movement of, animals under a certificate or permit from quarantined land, premises, or enclosures to a place other than that designated on the certificate or permit by the inspector. (b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor for each animal moved unless it is shown on the trial of the offense that the defendant has been previously convicted under this section, in which event the offense is a Class B misdemeanor.
