Sec. 161.362. INSURANCE REQUIREMENT. (a) Persons purchasing land under the program shall carry insurance on the improvements on the property in an amount that the board considers necessary. Failure to do so will subject the contract to forfeiture or the mortgage to foreclosure. (b) The board may promulgate rules necessary to enforce this subchapter. (c) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 674, Sec. 21, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
