Sec. 161.212. APPRAISAL. (a) Before purchasing land under the provisions of this chapter, the board shall have an appraisal of the property made to determine its value. (b) A person making an appraisal on behalf of the board shall be licensed or certified as an appraiser by the State of Texas. (c) The appraiser shall make a written report to the board in the form and manner required by the board. (d) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 674, Sec. 21, eff. Sept. 1, 2003.
