Sec. 161.043. CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person is required to report under this subchapter and intentionally fails to report. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by confinement in jail for not more than six months or by a fine of not more than $100.
