Sec. 154.409. SUIT BY ATTORNEY GENERAL. (a) The department may notify the attorney general of a violation of this chapter. (b) The attorney general shall institute suit in the name of this state against a person who violates this chapter in a district court in Travis County or the county in which the violation occurred.
