Sec. 15.4041. ISSUANCE OF INTERPRETIVE STATEMENTS. (a) The commissioner may issue interpretive statements containing matters of general policy to guide the public and credit unions, and may amend or repeal a published interpretive statement by issuing an amended statement or notice of repeal of a statement. (b) An interpretive statement may be disseminated by newsletter, through an electronic medium such as the Internet, in a volume of statutes or related materials published by the commissioner or others, or by any other means reasonably calculated to notify persons affected by the interpretive statement. Notice of an amended or withdrawn statement must be disseminated in a substantially similar manner as the affected statement was originally disseminated.
