Sec. 1452.051. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "Advanced practice nurse" has the meaning assigned by Section 301.152 , Occupations Code. (2) "Physician" means an individual licensed to practice medicine in this state. (3) "Physician assistant" means an individual who holds a license issued under Chapter 204 , Occupations Code.
