Sec. 1432.002. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: (1) "Bond authorization" means an ordinance of the governing body of a municipality, a resolution of the board of trustees of an independent school district, or an order of the commissioners court of a county that authorizes the issuance of bonds. (2) "Local government" means a county, a municipality, or an independent school district.
