Sec. 143.024. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION NOTICE. (a) Before the 10th day before the date an entrance examination is held, the commission shall cause a notice of the examination to be posted in plain view on a bulletin board located in the main lobby of the city hall and in the commission's office. The notice must show the position to be filled or for which the examination is to be held, and the date, time, and place of the examination. (b) The notice required by Subsection (a) must also state the period during which the eligibility list created as a result of the examination will be effective.
