Sec. 142.118. PREEMPTION OF OTHER LAW. (a) This subchapter preempts all contrary local ordinances, executive orders, legislation, or rules adopted by a municipality. (b) Section 617.002 , Government Code, does not apply to an agreement made or an action taken under this subchapter.
