Sec. 131.142. TERM AND TRANSFERABILITY OF PERMIT. (a) A surface mining permit issued under this chapter for uranium and uranium ore shall be issued for a term of not more than 10 years. (b) Except as provided in Sections 131.155 through 131.158 of this code, a surface mining permit is nontransferable.
