Sec. 122.359. CIVIL PENALTY. (a) A person who violates Section 122.356 is liable to this state for a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed $500 for each violation. (b) The attorney general or any district or county attorney may bring an action to recover the civil penalty. (c) A civil penalty collected under this section must be deposited in the hemp transportation account under Section 122.355 .
